Healing Beyond Talk Therapy
Deeper healing happens when we integrate the body, mind, and nervous system.

My approach is rooted in client collaboration and intuitive methods that promote self-awareness, emotional regulation, and a greater sense of inner balance. I also keep things real and approach therapy as a human more than a clinician.
Somatic Therapy
Somatic Therapy
The mind is only as healthy as the nervous system. Somatic techniques help clients get out of their heads and into their bodies by focusing on sensations, movement, and breathwork to heal past traumas and regulate emotions.
Interoception Techniques
Interoception Techniques
Interoception is a fancy way of describing our ability to sense signals from the body–including everything from hunger cues to imagination to increasing self-awareness. Strengthening interoception skills helps individuals understand their physiological and emotional signals.
Internal Family Systems
Internal Family Systems Directives (IFS)
I use a blend of guided imagery and internal family systems techniques to help clients address the emotional and spiritual wounds they carry and/or suppress. Through our work together we will identify these pains, honor and validate them, and tend to them in ways that provide healing and repair.
Orientation Skills
Orientation Skills
If interoception is the connection to our inner world and body, orientation is the bridge to the external environment. Orientation is the ability to be aware of your surroundings. We will use the five senses to orient to the present to help wounded parts recognize they are now safe. These grounding techniques help bring the nervous system to a state of safety, allowing for more ease in your day to day.
Emotional Freedom Techniques
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/Tapping)
A technique combining light tapping on meridian points with cognitive reframing to reduce stress, rewire limiting beliefs, and gently process trauma. This modality particularly helps in reducing overwhelm and increasing distress tolerance. EFT is rooted in chinese medicine and acupuncture points.
Mindfulness Practices
Mindfulness Practices
Mindfulness methods cultivate present-moment awareness, reduce stress, and increase self-compassion, ultimately helping clients navigate life’s challenges with more ease. This modality is firmly rooted in Buddhist and Eastern practices.
Keeping It Real
Keeping It Real
While not a formal clinical approach, authenticity and humor are also at the core of my practice. My clients appreciate my passion and commitment to keeping things real. Social justice and decolonization are deeply important to me, and I integrate these values into my work. I'm aware that I walk the world with inherent privilege as a white woman. I am committed to constantly challenging myself and placing myself in spaces of growth where I listen to and learn from the stories, voices and wisdoms of marginalized and oppressed communities.
