Meet Nicole Black
For the past four years, I’ve been running my own private practice, building on years of experience in community mental health and harm reduction services. I earned my Master’s degree from Antioch University and bring not just clinical experience, but deep compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to social justice into my work.
Nicole Black LMFT
I believe in the power of community, the work of decolonization, and the importance of personal accountability as a white, cis woman. My practice is rooted in continuous learning—both professionally and personally. Understanding my own ancestral background helps me gain a deeper sense of self and connection to the world around me and before me. Spirituality and interdependence are also an important part of my life, and I find strength in maintaining a relationship with my spiritual practices, ancestral work, and community care.  At the core of my work is a commitment to helping people feel empowered on their journey to explore all aspects of their identity, purpose, and relationship to self and others.
